Clever thinking - inside the box
This diagram says it all. The PMS is synchronised between the cloud and your CloudPlus box. The CloudPlus box manages all the connectivity elements of the system as it’s local so you don’t compromise functionality as with pure cloud software.
If your broadband goes down you still work as normal from your CloudPlus box and everything synchronises once it is back up.
You can also see that you can work remotely using any authorised device 24/7 so access for domiciliary care, general admin’ or any remote activity is always available - with up-to-date live data.

Your CloudPlus box is full of innovative technology including TWO processors; number 1 manages the main PMS software and number 2 runs security processes and connectivity.
The two CPUs have separate power supplies and the connectivity one can cleverly move over to be powered by the other supply if its own fails so you still have full functionality.
If the PMS power fails you can still work from the cloud in combination with number 2 - again with full functionality.

Data drives
There are five drives in a CloudPlus box. These drives are all ‘hot-swap’ which means if one fails we can send you a new drive for easy replacement and you don’t even have to turn the system off.
Three replicate the PMS software, all synchronised copies, to make sure you always have your system available and that in turn is synchronised to the cloud platform.
Two are synchronised copies of your general practice data such as documents, scans, X-Rays etc. These are also backed up to the cloud space that comes with your subscription - 50GB per license.
Additional space costs a little extra if you need. We highly recommend you backup all your key business data offsite; and this makes it easy. You also get the benefit of multiple backups so you can reinstate data deleted or lost somehow in error.
