Glenn Wynsor

Managing Director

Having worked in many industries as a business and marketing consultant for thirty plus years developing and building numerous companies including several in the dental sector, I bought Wysdom in 2016 as I had always thought that the team had exceptional experience and knowledge that had mostly not been utilised.
We’ve now created the very best dental PMS for the UK and beyond and built a strong reputation for exceptional customer support and service. I have the best team I could wish for as their dedication and commitment to helping deliver the dream has never been in question.

We all believe in the personal touch which has been so lost in recent years and it's this that makes the difference for us on a day to day basis in the office and for all our customers out in the field.

Out of work I love to travel - especially somewhere warm - and still pick up my old Guild guitar for a strum when I get the chance.

    Viv Stirling

    General Manager
I was made General Manager in 2006 and have enjoyed being an integral part of bringing the existing team together who have since taken support and digital imaging to the next level. For the last few years I have been heavily involved in the development of CloudPlus. There truly is never a dull moment at Wysdom!

A year after qualifying as a Dental Nurse at 18, I joined the NHS Dental Health Promotion Team, benefiting from the educational culture and eventually managing the team. In 1997, having used computers for a couple of years and enjoying the facilities and possibilities they offered, I started working with Wysdom as a trainer, figuring I could share my enthusiasm for all things digital with a profession I knew well.

This time span also means I have seen more changes than anyone else in the office! Back then, the system was DOS, practices backed up to floppy disk (‘What’s that?’, I hear you ask…) or tape. Electronic transmission and remote support were unheard of!

In 1999 having been let down by an external engineer who was supposed to be installing hardware, I decided my only option was to borrow a screwdriver from the practice and get familiar with the insides of a computer.

System builds subsequently became another of my Wysdom tasks followed by Digital Imaging.

You won’t however find me in the office in the last week of June as this finds me, come rain or shine, in one of my favourite happy places - the muddy or green fields of Glastonbury.

      Matt Littleton

      Technical Operation Manager

I started in the dental industry with Wysdom in 2011 as an I.T Engineer and have developed extensive experience with a wide variety of dental imaging systems. I now supply, install, service and provide aftercare to many practices across the UK. I also look after the internal systems for UK practices for Cloud Backup, Antivirus and the various software tools used by our service desk team.
I advise on a wide range of capital equipment from computer hardware & software to X-Ray systems, digital cameras/scanners, autoclaves, and more.

I pride myself on always delivering the very best customer experience which comes from having well-established relationships with both customers and manufacturers. Every day is different and I enjoy the day-to-day pressures and challenges, whether in the office or on-site.

Outside of work (although rarely unavailable as our customers know!), I enjoy Motorsport & working on my Nissan Silvia, as well as traveling abroad and in the UK on holiday, spending time with my family.

        Kerry Arundell

        Clinical Support Manager
I started working in dentistry in 1990 as a trainee nurse, progressing on to Implant Nursing, Sedation, Radiography and finally practice management. I joined Wysdom in 2007 and threw myself into supporting and training our customers on the legacy software Wysdom ICONic.
I pride myself in providing a positive helpful approach when dealing with our customers to leave them feeling looked after and fully supported from a technical and clinical perspective. I left for a midlife crisis in 2014, which involved selling our house and buying a boat to live on. Crisis over, I returned in 2017 to my position of Customer Support and it was lovely to be welcomed back by the team and customers alike.

I have been heavily involved with the design of the new Cloud Plus software, sharing my ideas and experience from over 30 years in dentistry, to make life simpler for dental staff using our leading dental software.

We still have our boat and cruise the Grand Union canal, when we are not on the boat I enjoy travelling around the UK in our van sightseeing and walking our dog and office mascot Norman “Wysdom”.

        Phil Costin

        Principal Software Solutions Architect

Passionate about system reliability and clean design, I’m responsible for the design and development of both the user-facing and back-of-house software platform, databases and networks that support the core features provided by the business to our customers.
Most recently, I have been tasked with bringing the CloudPlus and SyncTech visions to reality, which has been infinitely challenging but very exciting.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and father of two children. I’m interested in travel and martial arts and have 7 fish, 2 water-snails and a parrot.

          Andrew Doherty

          Software Developer
I joined Wysdom in 2019 as an apprentice and quickly progressed to become a full member of the development team with responsibility for helping to develop both the user-interface and the back-end technologies responsible for powering CloudPlus.
I’m normally to be found incorporating feedback from either the rest of the wider team or directly from our customers themselves into the system in order to ensure core features and design combine to give our customers the very best user experience.

In my spare time, I'm almost always likely to be at my own desktop, partaking in things that aren't too dissimilar from the work I do, but related to subjects that I have personal interest in, with a few video game sessions here and there.

          Mike Pawlak

          Software Developer

At work, I mainly deal with machines but I also try to understand the people who use what I create and my team members confirm that I do a good job at that. I love sharing knowledge because I believe that as a team, we can achieve more.
Outside of work, I ride electric unicycles (EUCs) around my area, often covering several dozen kilometers at speeds over 60 km/h (37+ mph). Cars often slow down to compare speeds, not believing that someone could be crazy enough to ride that fast on one wheel! The freedom, the wind in my hair, and the adrenaline are feelings I love. The unicycle is a device that literally 'hacks your brain,' allowing intuitive control - lean forward to go, lean back to stop.

Sometimes I ride with my son, who is the only 12-year-old in Poland to go on three-day trips of up to 500km with his dad on EUCs. It's our unique adventure that brings us even closer together.

              Steph Matthews

              Accounts & Admin Manager
I wear many hats but my main job is to look after the finances of the business. Managing all customer sales and invoicing, supplier administration, all manner of internal admin and generally helping to keep all the plates spinning, I am also affectionately known as the 'Courier Queen' as if anything needs to be sent no matter how large or small, I’ll get it sorted.
I joined Wysdom back in 2018. After a 2 and half hour interview with Glenn, I just knew that the job and life at Wysdom was going to be interesting and very diverse and it certainly has been!

When not at work I enjoy entertaining and cooking with my husband for our friends and family with dinners & BBQs. I love camping and travelling, and walking our Labrador Charlie – Wysdom’s Assistant Welfare Dog.

              Client Relationship Support

I am passionate about supporting our customers and bringing some fun to their day as well as ours here. I learn something new every day and it’s lovely working for a company that really cares about their customers.
Having known the Wysdom family since I was small, I always thought 'I want to work there', so when a client support role became available I had to apply... even if it meant working with my mum!

I am passionate about supporting our customers and bringing some fun to their day as well as ours here. I learn something new every day and it’s lovely working for a company that really cares about their customers.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places with my dog and navigating the canal in my own little boat!

                Norman

                Welfare Officer
I am the Lead Welfare Officer at Wysdom and my job is to look cute, greet guests and keep the team happy. I do this by making them play ball, tug of war with my rope toy and getting my belly rubbed.
I have been at Wysdom since I was a puppy and I am now 2 years old so I feel quite at home with my work family. I love my colleague Charlie as he’s very grown up and lets me think I’m the boss.

                Charlie

                Assistant Welfare Officer

Hi my name is Charlie and I am Wysdom’s Assistant Welfare Officer. My job is to ensure that all the humans in the office do not eat too much so I can usually be found sitting by their desks, silently willing them to share whatever is for lunch.
I am quite partial to some bacon and cheese so I save my very best ‘puppy dog eyes’ expression for those. It’s all for my humans’ benefit as I’m just saving them from themselves. My ‘boss’ Norman is a young whipper snapper who has far too much energy for my liking and I often have to put him in his place.

Outside of work, I love going camping and on long walks with my humans.

                  Jo Wynsor

                  Director
My job is to try and help everyone stay sane and focused in what is a super-busy, always challenging and ever-changing environment. My whole career has been centred on delivering high standards in people-orientated organisations and I’m passionate about keeping the humanity in business.
I’m lucky to be part of a great team at Wysdom who all share that passion and who will always go the extra mile to look after our customers.

Outside of work, give me warm sunshine and the sea just about anywhere and I’m happy.
